Daughtry and 3 Doors Down hit Convention Hall in Asbury Park on Friday night. An awesome concert was to be expected. It was what happened during the show that was unexpected and quite generous.

At this point in the competition, you wouldn't think an elimination on American Idol would be such a big deal, but it is and it's especially tough to get knocked out this week, since the person eliminated, Shannon Magrane, does not get to be part of the Idol tour. She sang well in her attempt to get saved by the judges, but they chose to pass.
