Donovan's Reef is Sea Bright was a go-to spot at the Jersey Shore for years until Superstorm Sandy destroyed the building. Now, nearly 5 years later, it's expected to fully reopen, just in time for the holiday weekend.

Fans of Brian Kirk and the Jirks have a reason to smile, as plans are moving forward to restore Sea Bright's beloved club, Donovan's Reef, to its former glory. Construction is in the beginning stages, as workers began delivering pilings to where the new elevated building will sit...

Another awesome sign of rebuilding in Sea Bright as one of the owners of the popular (and Sandy-destroyed) Donovan's Reef, says it should be partially reopened by July 1st!

Donovan's Reef in Sea Bright has been a Jersey Shore landmark and party destination since 1976. But, when Sandy hit, it left the bar in shambles. The owners of Donovan's vowed to rebuild and finally a plan has been put in place.
