A Pleasantville man has been arrested in connection with the overdose death of a Ship Bottom man at a home on West 18th Street on April 15, 2018.

With cold and flu season in full swing, health officials are issuing warnings to prevent those with symptoms from accidentally overdosing on acetaminophen.

The tally of drug overdose fatalities in Ocean County now stands at 104 and the Prosecutors' Office said that they're waiting for toxicology results on several more individuals. However, behind those numbers are hundreds of families and friends dealing with the unbearable pain of their loss.
