Duzzy

Very, VERY minor wedding planning is under way, and it's all started with choosing a date!

I always do my grocery shopping on Sunday evenings...it's just part of my routine now. Yesterday, I decided to do that shopping a little earlier in the day, since I knew this storm was coming, and figured everything would be wiped out by my normal shopping time. I was not prepared.

I've been engaged for less than a week, but of course, the advice -- whether wanted or not -- is already pouring in!

So I figured getting stuck in the elevator on Friday would be the most exciting thing that would happen to me all week. I was wrong.

Duzzy and I, like so many, watched last night's Yankee game -- Derek Jeter's last go in the Bronx. While we're both Yankee fans, Duzzy is a total baseball nut, so it's safe to say that as awestruck, smiling, and satisfied last night's storybook ending left me - bittersweet as it was - his reaction was even greater...

I inadvertently sent Duzzy into a panic last night with a simple text.
