The 200 Club of Monmouth County is holding their annual valor awards Friday which honors police, fire and first aid responders who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.
When events unfolded in Seaside Park, Chelsea and Elizabeth and all over the country over the past few days, we once again saw first responders heading toward potential danger to keep us safe.
They go to work every day, knowing they could be in dangerous situations at any moment. Running into a burning building might be part of a day at the job for first responders in our area, and early yesterday morning it was.
