Betty White was a national treasure, and now on her 100th heavenly birthday she sparked a national movement. I'm sure you've see #BettyWhiteChallenge everywhere on social media. What does it all mean? The idea is to donate $5 to any local or national animal shelter in Betty White’s name. This is supposed to be the last big push since today is her birthday. I made a list of every No Kill animal shelter in New Jersey and linked their contact info to make it easy for you to be a part of the challenge today!

I'm an animal lover like so many of you so I love sharing this post! This is more news that New Jersey can be proud of...a proposed new law (that passed unanimously) would allow judges to appoint lawyers for animals that have been mistreated or abused. That is freaking awesome.
