Pelican Island

After a lengthy debate over whether Snooki and company should be able to film at a house on Pelican Island, Berkley Township, a decision has been reached.

Snooki is back and the controversy didn't take long to follow. Some folks on Pelican Island think it might be too much distraction to film the show there. Snooki apparently doesn't.

Pelican Island, an Ocean county shore town that was demolished by Sandy could be the next destination for Snooki and JWoww from MTV's "Jersey Shore."
