Polar Bear Plunge

Saturday's high temperature is expected to be in the mid-30s, but that's not going to stop a huge group of people from hitting the beach for a good cause!

The Ladacin Network is preparing for their 7th Annual Polar Bear Plunge and they'd love you to be there!

The water off Monmouth County beaches is hovering around 35°, so jumping in seems downright crazy...unless you're doing it for a good cause.

It was too cold even for the brave people who take part in the Asbury Park Polar Bear plunge this past Sunday. Wind chills dipped near zero, so now the event will take place on February 2nd.

Long Branch native's Carolyn Stack and Scott Pauciello took "the plunge" twice over the weekend.
