I've said many times before that I hate politics...and that in most cases, I can't stand politicians. Our leaders have really been put to the test in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, and while some failed, others should be commended.

A lot of people have said to me in the past few days, 'You think anyone cares about the election after Sandy?' Well, if they don't, they should.

Former Toms River school superintendent Mike Ritacco has been sentenced. He's definitely not the only one who deserves to sit behind bars.
