Popcorn Park Zoo

A seagull was found injured and tangled in a fishing line along the beach in Surf City. It later lost a leg and passed away.

This is an update to an earlier story that we brought to you. Few weeks ago we told you about Ginger the husky that was found left in a cage in the Barnegat woods with no food or water. Luckily Ginger was found by a local resident and turned over to authorities.

This story makes my blood boil! The idea of someone just throwing away a dog like taking out the trash is just a heinous act. As a dog owner and lover it is just horrible to think someone would be so cruel that they wouldn't even give this poor animal a chance to survive.

Ellie is six year’s old and can make a wonderful pet for a loving family. Ellie has had a rough life, but there is still time for her to know what love is....is that you? According to the Popcorn Park Zoo....only 1 person in almost a year has asked to even see Ellie.....only 1 !

There will be no court date this week on the status of Rocky the hybrid Bobcat. NJ.com reports that the court date was postponed from this Friday to December 19th because Rocky's owner Ginny Fine of Stafford Township is out of the country...
