Madagascar 3 and Prometheus topped new Tom Cruise and Adam Sandler movies to take the top two spots at the box office this weekend. Madagascar 3 pulled in $35.5 million, bringing it's total to $120.5 million and Prometheus earned $20.2 million.

Let me start by saying that what's pictured here is NOT how TomCruise looks in the movie....see, I can't show you the good shots because he is practically naked in them, except for some strategically-placed leather!

We had the opportunity to attend the New York City premiere of Rock of Ages last night at Regal Cinemas on 42nd St in Manhattan. Would the energy and electricity of the Broadway show be captured on a movie screen? Would the amazing music that took over the stage find it's way to the silver screen?

Madagascar 3 had a huge weekend at the box office, grabbing $59 million and the top spot . Prometheus finished at #2 with an impressive $49 million. Snow White and the Huntsman finished third and Men In Black 3 dropped to #4 with only $14 million this weekend.
