Plenty of New Jerseyans like the fact that they live in the only U.S. state that prohibits self-serve at the gas pump, according to a poll out of Monmouth University.
As lawmakers aim to give New Jersey motorists the option of pumping their own gas, a poll released on Thursday suggests that most people would stay in their cars if the law were ever to change.
New Jersey is the last state where self-serve gasoline isn't allowed. The bill would require full-serve pumps at stations with more than four dispensers.
