Sharks attacking dolphins, or at least trying to, probably happens quite a bit and we never even know about it. Nonetheless, a visitor to one South Jersey beach over the weekend snapped a picture which might indicate sharks are getting extra hungry.
Her name is Mary Lee, and she is 3,456 pounds to be exact!
She was originally tagged in Cape May back in 2012.
Well Mary Lee is back!! The great white's tracker was recorded around 8am this morning 10 miles off of Wildwood. Then at 1:04 p.m., Mary Lee pinged again about 12 miles off the coast…
This summer we've seen an unusual amount of sharks at the beach. But, we've also seen a bunch of dolphins, whales and other aquatic sightings very close to the shoreline. Why? Find out, and check out some amazing shots after the jump!
