The Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties

Tuesday in Toms River three organizations came together to bring food, job training and even pro-bono tax preperation for individuals and families struggling to make ends meet, especially four years post Superstorm Sandy.

It's time to do what the Jersey Shore does best. It's time to help our neighbors in need. The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties needs your help in order to assist as many of our neighbors as possible.

The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties will hold its 22st Annual Culinary Classic tasting event on Monday, September 23, 2013 from 5 to 9 pm at The Mill at Spring Lake Heights.

With so many of our neighbors in need, you may be thinking, "What can I do to help?". How about coordinating a food drive in your neighborhood to help the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties!

If you have some books that are overdue at a Monmouth County Library, it could be good news for you and the Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties! The Monmouth County Library System has announced that throughout the month of April( April 2nd to April 30th), they will deduct $2 from your late fees for each donation of a non perishable food item you make, according to patch.com.

Lou and I did our show from the Atlantic Club in Manasquan the day before Thanksgiving to collect donations for The Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. We just received a beautiful thank-you note from the Director of Development at the food bank who says we collected 1,750 pounds of food at the Manasquan location and another 420 pounds at the Red Bank Atlantic Club...
