With Toms River North graduating most of its juggernaut 2021 team, the Class A South race is wide open in 2022.

It's been a tough couple years for Toms River High School East after riding a high wave in 2019 when they finished 9-2 and made a playoff run, but they're now looking to bust through the tide to friendlier waters -- and results.

Jackson Memorial has owned Class A South for the last four years. Can the other division contenders close the gap or will this be the year that Jackson breaks through in the postseason.

It was a normal training camp for the Raiders in 2021 as they hope to turn the tide onto calmer waters and pick up where they left off after the 2019 season.

From Toms River to Tokyo and back, Toms River's own Todd Frazier was given a special kind of welcome back to Ocean County on Monday night as he brought home the Silver Medal he and Team U.S.A. won during the Tokyo Olympics.
