Superstorm Sandy, to many New Jerseyans, meant some minor damage and a few cold nights in the dark. For thousands of other residents, however, the struggle has lasted much longer.

The devastation that so many Jersey Shore towns suffered from Hurricane Sandy is hard to put into words, and Union Beach is certainly one of those towns. Now you can help your neighbors in Union Beach by donating a gently worn prom dress.

Funtown Pier in Seaside, Jenkinson's in Point Pleasant, the recently redone Belmar Boardwalk, and the brand new waterfront in Union Beach...all major attractions in our area, and all casualties of the monster we call Sandy. So what should be rebuilt first?

Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden has joined us each morning since the day before Sandy to keep us updated on the very latest on the aftermath of Sandy. Sheriff Golden has been touring some of the devastation and shared some photos with us and we wanted to share them with you.
