Toms River’s Kassia Johnson is our Warrior of the Week

Townsquare Media and the Jay & Linda Grunin Foundation are teaming up to salute our local heroes with our Warrior of the Week program.

Congratulations to Kassia Johnson, our Warrior of the Week for the week of December 3rd, 2018.

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Kassia A. Johnson graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Johnson earned distinction as an honor graduate.

She is a 2012 graduate of Monsignor High School and she also earned a bachelor's degree in 2018 from Monmouth University.
