Toms River Town Council reschedules council meeting

The Toms River Township Council meeting that was held this week is being rescheduled to next Tuesday, at 6:00 pm.

Toms River Township Clerk Alison Carlisle said that the regularly scheduled Council meeting on March 24 was adjourned following technical difficulties that occurred on Tuesday evening.

"Due to the current pandemic and in accordance with the Governors executive order, this meeting will be live-streamed from the Township website," Carlisle said in a statement.

To view the council meeting next Tuesday, visit the town's website, click on “Departments”, “Municipal Clerk’s Office” and then click on the “Council meeting Videos” on the left hand side of the page.

Formal action may be taken and an Executive Session may be held.
