The state Department of Education defines cases of violence as acts involving assault, criminal threats, extortion, fights, kidnapping, robberies and sex offenses.

 

 

In a recent article from Patch, the numbers were released for violent acts at school districts around the state from 2014 - 2015.

The Top 3 in the State were Trenton Public School District, Willingboro and East Orange.

Here are the TOP 10 School Districts at the Jersey Shore with Reported Violent Incidents

2. Toms River Regional (63)
3. Freehold Regional (62)
4. Lakewood (52)
5. Middletown (34)
6. Neptune (34)
7. Jackson Township (28)
8. Matawan-Aberdeen Regional (26)
9. Freehold Boro (23)
10. Manchester (21)
