Well, it may not be as far-fetched as you think!

Belmar is hoping to get on Prince Harry's schedule when he comes to the U.S. next month for a tour.

The Prince of Wales plans to tour the hurricane devastation in our state and N.Y. So Belmar hopes he can stop by and see the progress and hear the stories from a borough ravaged by Sandy.

Mayor Matt Doherty says he's working on trying to make that happen during the time that Prince Harry's trip May 9 - 15th.

Prince Harry not only wants to visit survivors of the Superstorm, but he also will be promoting charities he supports that help injured service men and women in our country and the U.K.

He also plans to visit Connecticut, Colorado, and Washington, D.C.

Governor Christie will be chaperoning Prince Harry during his visit to our state.

Belmar officials are also hoping for the governor to visit on Memorial Day to help kick off the tourism weekend on the rebuilt Belmar boardwalk.
