With a donation for a song or an entry into the biggest concert event coming to the Jersey Shore, you can help raise money for The Monmouth County Child Advocacy Center.

The MCCAC in Freehold serves as a safe, child-friendly facility for the victims of child abuse, neglect, and assault and their caregivers. Our listeners helped us raise money to break ground and get the first phase of the building completed so that its doors could be opened for children in need. But the building is not yet finished, and there are ways you can help get it done through the Friends of the Monmouth County Child Advocacy Center.

Nicole Rodriguez, a 16 year old local singer/songwriter, has written a song and marked the proceeds for the Friends of the Monmouth County Child Advocacy Center. Entitled "Broken Heart of Gold", Nicole wrote the song to honor a friend who is the victim of child abuse.

The single is just 99 cents and available for download or on the iTunes store.

Also, everyone who donates $50 or more to the Friends of the Monmouth County Child Advocacy Center through Facebook between now and May 7 will be entered to win one of four pairs of Bamboozle 3-day passes for this year's event in Asbury Park!

It is very important to remember that we must continue to raise funds to complete the portion of the building that will include a medical suite, a group therapy room, and workspace for the prosecutors and staff.

Here's your chance to speak out for the kids who can't speak out for themselves.
