2017 Monmouth and Ocean County Halloween Haunted Houses and Hayrides

Ready for a good scare? There are plenty of options foe the 2017 season. Here are Monmouth and Ocean's Halloween haunted houses and hayrides!

Monmouth County

Asbury Park - Zombie Walk, an annual parade of zombies along the boardwalk and Cookman Ave. October 7, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Lincroft – Brookdale Haunted Theater has gotten bigger for 2017. Whether it's wild or mild scares you're looking for, this walk-through haunted house at Brookdale Community College’s Performing Arts Center will please. This year, the haunted house will be open for three weekends! Get spooked October 13-15, 20- 22, and 27-29 from 7-10:30 p.m., 7-9 p.m. on Sundays. The kid's tours take place October 21, 22, 28, and 29 from 2-4 p.m.

Marlboro – Haunted Casola at C. Casola Farms will be open every Friday & Saturday from September 23 through October 28 at 7:00 pm. Ticket sales begin at 6:30 pm & end at 11:00 pm, but the haunted attraction stays open until the last soul has exited.

Haunted Casola will have five different attractions in one place! The Haunted Hayride of Terror, 3D Haunted Barn (walkthrough), The Haunted Wooded Trail (walkthrough), The Living Maze, and Marlboro Zombie Breakout (Kid-friendly zombie paintball!)

Wall – Camp Evans Base of Terror, a 1/2 mile haunted walk through on the 100-year old Army base! Open 7-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays in October. (Opens September 29th)

Wall - Allaire State Park Haunted Village and Hayride, a walk-through and hayride on the grounds of Allaire State Park. Open 6-9:30 p.m. October 20-21, 27-28. 

Wall - Historic Allaire Village 19th Century All Hallow's Eve, a family-friendly Halloween event with a costume contest, tractor rides, pumpkin-picking and decorating, crafts, storytelling, and more. October 29 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Ocean County

Bayville – The Dark Carnival at Blackbeard’s Grave (Cave), a circus-themed, interactive haunted maze and walkthrough. Open 7-11 p.m. Fridays-Sundays from September 22-October 29.

Brick – Scary Rotten Farms features two attractions at one haunted farm. Dare to take part in "Sinister Sneed's Chaotic Carnival of Choas" or "Blackened." Check them out September 22 right through Halloween. Click here for a full schedule and to get tickets.

Jackson – Dracula’s Domain includes a haunted hayride, a walk through called "Psycho Path," and a corn maze. Drac's Domain is at 539 Monmouth Rd near Great Adventure. Opening night is Friday, September 29. Click here for their schedule.

Jackson – Nightmare at Gravity Hill. As you enter the gates of Gravity Hill at Cicconi Farms, the nightmare begins. You will find over a dozen different scenes/settings spread out over 5 acres. It's 35 minutes of spine-chilling walkable haunted trails and creepy themes & adventures. This is not a hayride where you can hide from the creatures of the night, so wear comfortable shoes in case one of them takes a liking to your scent and decides to keep you! Children under the age of 14 will not be admitted without an adult. Schedule your scare here.

Jackson - Six Flags Great Adventure FrightFest, a family-friendly by day, fright by night combination of shows, walk-throughs, hayrides, and more. Open weekends Sept 16-Oct. 31. Hours vary, see full schedule HERE.
