7 Times Your Mom was Right

As a mom, it would make my LIFE if one day one of my boys were to tell the world that I was right about a thing or two!

Let's see. What kind of advice, big and small, have I given my boys through the years? Hmmmmm. There are so many things. Among them:

-- Don't believe everything you hear (or read online) without checking it out more thoroughly and going to the source.

-- Don't let others tell you what to do if it conflicts with your inner 'right and wrong' meter. Don't let 'friends' pressure you. If you feel uncomfortable, walk away.

-- Love for God and your family is important and should never be taken for granted. Time spent together making memories (both big and small) is priceless. Always be grateful and thankful for what you have.

My very good friend Diane has four beautiful children. Her youngest, Leah, is now writing blogs at college...and this one made her mom's day. And it gave me hope that once my boys grow up, they'll look back and appreciate some of the advice I've given them. Here is Leah's list:
