A Backstage Glimpse

From Michael Douglas to David Cassidy, it's so cool to have an all-access pass at the NJ Hall of Fame Ceremonies!

This is my fourth year backstage at the NJHOF induction show and each year I am still amazed that I am in the middle of all the celebrity action.

My first year there, Bruce Springsteen sent his mom and aunts to the event in grand fashion and his mom was surprised with a birthday cake backstage. After singing Happy Birthday to her, she invited me to sit at their table! She couldn't have been sweeter.

One year I got to trip all over myself talking to Jon Bon Jovi after he received his award. Embarrassing, but still a great memory.

Two years ago Jack Nicholson and I had a conversation about his years at Manasquan High School when I told him my boys go to school in Squan.

Buzz Aldrin makes it a point to attend every single ceremony after being inducted along with The Boss the very first year in the Class of 2008. One year, he took a photo for me with my son Benjamin's "Flat Stanley"!!!

Queen Latifah was so gracious and her dad and I spent a lot of time together backstage...but I can't repeat the stories he told, lol.

Danny DeVito was perhaps one of the friendliest celebrities I have ever met.

And I will NOT divulge who the divas are.....or I may not be asked back!
