A Couple Had a Baby and This Purebred Had To Go

Meet our Point Pet of the Week, Duke, a one year old Boxer.

Duke was originally purchased from a pet store, then surrendered to the Monmouth County SPCA after his owners had a baby. The family said they no longer had time to take care of him.

If you like Boxers and have time to dedicate towards training, this housebroken young dog is waiting for you to give him a forever home. He came running into our studio this morning like he owns the place! Very high energy and still very much acting like an energetic puppy : )

The Monmouth County SPCA would also like to invite you to their "Run for the Animals 3K and Doggie Dash" on Saturday, June 16th, at Monmouth Battlefield in Freehold starting at 10 am.

The Monmouth County SPCA is located at 260 Wall St. in Eatontown. They are open for adoption Mon. - Fri. 1 pm - 5 pm; Sat. and Sun. noon - 5 pm. And their Homeward Bound Adoption Center is now open on the lower level of Freehold Raceway Mall Thurs. through Sun. during mall hours.
