You're invited to "A Night at Club Mo" this Saturday to benefit a non-profit that helps parents who are grieving the loss of a child.Christopher J. Morrissey left this world much too soon and, for his family and friends, time stood still. A silence moved through them. A quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch from him. Those who love him will never understand why he left this world so soon, but what they are beginning to remember is not that he died, but that he lived. His life gave his loved ones memories too beautiful to forget.

One of the main purposes of "A Night at Club Mo" is for friends and family of Chris to honor him, remember him, and continue his legacy through music, dance, and speeches. It's also a time to remember other children who left this world too soon by honoring the parents in attendance through a slide show, candle ceremony, and moment of silence.

The benefit takes place this Saturday night, June 13th,, 6:30 - 10:30 pm, at the Spring Lake Manor on Rt. 71. A Night at Club Mo is a Cocktail/Dinner Auction with live entertainment by the Billy Lawlor Band. Over 150 gifts will be raffled as well as door prizes. And, new this year, casino tables and the opportunity to win even more gifts.

Proceeds will go toward raising scholarship money and to help support parents grieving the loss of a child.
