An Arrest is Made in Last Week’s Red Bank Shooting
A Red Bank man is in custody for last week's shooting of a borough resident.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said a joint investigation with Red Bank Police led them to Anthony Sims Jr., age 25, Monday for his alleged involvement in what they determined to be a targeted shooting.
Sims, who's present address is listed in Long Branch, was charged with first degree Attempted Murder, second degree counts of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Certain Persons Not to Possess Weapons, in connection with the shooting of a 28-year-old Red Bank man on Willow Street on Wednesday, April 9th.
His victim remains in critical but stable condition after surgery.
