Pt. Pleasant Boardwalk is up and running...but what about some of our other local favorites?

In Belmar, the boardwalk recostruction is now complete...ahead of schedule! Lighting is set to be installed in time for Memorial Day.

This Saturday (May 4, 2013) D'Jais plans to hold a summer kick-off party.

And on May 23rd Belmar plans to officially reopen its beach and boardwalk with a ribbon cutting.

The NJ Seafood Festival in Belmar will take place Friday, June 7, 2013, from 4 - 10 pm at Silver Lake Park and Ocean Avenue, as well as Sat. June 8 from 11 am -8 pm, and Sunday June 9th as well.

In Manasquan, the framework has been laid for the new beach headquarters building.

The Osprey will reopen this Saturday,May 4, 2013.

Manasquan plans to begin to reopen the beach and boardwalk with a special ribbon-cutting the week of May 20th around the Brielle Road intersection, followed by a party at Leggett's on First Avenue, with limited tickets selling for $15. Check Manasquan Borough's website for more details.

On Memorial Day weekend Bradley Beach is among the local beach towns planning to have their boardwalks open.

On June 1st, 2013, Sea Girt plans to have its boardwalk open from Beacon to New York.
