The Annual Ashley Lauren Butterfly Ball was held this past Saturday night at the Spring Lake Golf Club and it was an amazing night.

This year's ball had a 40's theme and from the fantastic outdoor cocktail hour to the ceremony and festivities indoors, it was a night to remember for all who attended this years ball.

Among the honorees were Jeremy Grunin, president of the Jay and Linda Grunin Foundation, who received the Hope Award,  and Joe Leone, owner and president of Joe Leone's Italian Specialties, Catering and Gastronomia and Bakery in Point Pleasant Beach, who received the Humanitarian Award.

Also honored as the Volunteer of the Year was Lori Kirsch, who's dedication to the Ashley Lauren Foundation over the past four years has been inspiring. There were also some amazing auction items up for grabs.

The entertainment at the event was incredible and the Spring Lake Golf Club provided an amazing evening of food and service to this year's guests. I was proud to serve as this year's emcee.

So, thank you to everyone who came out Saturday night to support the amazing Ashley Laure Foundation in their continuing effort to support families dealing with a diagnosis of pediatric cancer.

Please learn about the amazing work being done by this great organization and find out how you can help them do their important work at the Ashley Lauren Foundation website.
