‘Maleficent’ Sneak Peek: Sleeping Beauty Gets Pricked in New Clip and Featuette
In the latest clip and featurette for 'Maleficent,' Angelina Jolie suggests the film is faithful to the original story, and that her character loves being evil. Which makes us curious how it plays out.
‘Star Wars’ is Plotting “At Least” Three Spinoff Films
Ever since George Lucas sold 'Star Wars' to Disney a year and a half ago, there's been word of sequels and spinoffs in the works. Now it's been revealed that commerce trumps tragedy as Sony and director Ivan Reitman are definitely moving forward with the project.
Oscar 2014 Shocker! ‘Alone Yet Not Alone’ Disqualified for Best Song
Though many of the 2014 Oscar Nominations seemed inevitable (we're looking at you, 'Gravity,' '12 Years a Slave' and 'American Hustle'), there were a number of surprises -- some pleasant, some less so. But perhaps the biggest "Huh?" was the best song nomination for 'Alone Yet Not Alone.' It turns out that the film violated campaigning rules, and has been disqualified.
‘Avatar’ Sequels Confirm the Return of Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana
With so much attention focused on 2015, and the explosion of tentpole releases that are coming, it's worth noting that the biggest sequel of them all isn't due until the year after.
