Belmar, Asbury Park Among Top 10 Beaches

Belmar and Asbury Park's beaches made the list of the top 10 beaches in the state this year.

The results, reported at nj.com, were compiled by the New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium. The top 5 places on the list belonged to South Jersey, with Ocean City taking top honors. Belmar placed 6th and Asbury Park was 8th. Island Beach State Park finished in the 10th spot.

The New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium teams up with Richard Stockton College’s Coastal Research Center to put the voting together.
