There are a lot of things you don't mess with in New Jersey. among those things, and maybe even the one on the very top of the list is our pizza. If you're going to name a pizza joint the best in the state, that's a huge deal.

When you just look at the numbers alone, there is almost no way to be able to single out a top pizza joint in New Jersey. There are two pizza joints on every corner, and in case you hadn't noticed, we have a lot of corners in New Jersey.

We are a loyal bunch here in the Garden State, and when it comes to our favorite pizza place, we're even more loyal. So naming one place as the best might not sit well with a lot of New Jersey residents.

It was pretty courageous of the folks at Finance Buzz to publish the list of the best pizza joints, not just here in New Jersey, but they named the best one in each state in the whole country.

Now, before we reveal their choice for the top pizza joint in the Garden State, let's just put on the record here that this is one of those areas where we feel like dozens if not hundreds of answers, could be correct.

Let's just use this information as a suggestion to try a place that all of us may not have ever experienced. No one wants to deprive themselves of great New Jersey pizza, right?

Now to their choice. They say the best pizza place in the whole state is in Orange, and it's called Star Tavern Pizzeria. They must be doing something right there since they have been in business since 1945.
