Cataldo’s Cuisine – Ray’s Cafe [VIDEO]
There are so many great places to eat here at the Jersey Shore, but it’s not often that you can find a really great restaurant that’s serving up awesome meals for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner!
It’s what makes Ray’s Cafe stand out from the crowd!
With two locations, both steps from the beach in Sea Girt and Spring Lake. For breakfast/brunch, you’ll find the traditional diner classics like omelettes, pancakes, steak and eggs, French toast, and of course yummy sandwiches like pork roll, egg, and cheese on a roll.
For lunch there’s a nice range of options from hot and cold sandwiches to salads, wraps, and burgers.
Dinner (in Spring Lake only) is where Ray’s Cafe really shines. Steaks, burgers, and pasta dishes are all on the menu, but you can’t beat the fresh seafood. Whether it’s a seared tuna appetizer, clams casino, or simple broiled scallops, Ray’s is doing it all well.
Owner Ray Litzinger says they go ‘heavy on the seafood in the summer’ and encourages you to “[c]ome in, stay the week…we can feed you all three meals if you want!’
That’s the sort of hospitality you can expect from Ray and his crew. It’s also reasonably priced if you’re cost-conscious…always a plus!
Ray’s Cafe is located at 1321 3rd Ave. in Spring Lake, and 523 Washington Blvd. in Sea Girt. Open daily for breakfast and lunch from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Spring Lake is open for dinner Wednesday – Sunday from 5 – 9 p.m. Dinner reservations are highly recommended. Call (732) 359-7700 for more info.
