There are SO many fabulous shows happening in Jersey right now...and more to come. I already told you about these epic shows here. However, if you are planning to go to various shows in Jersey you better make sure you are vaccinated or it's a no-go. Here are the places requiring proof of a vax or neg test before you can play:

Laurita Winery is one of, if not the best winery in Monmouth & Ocean Counties. The winery is located at 85 Archertown Rd in New Egypt and this weekend you can attend the Bacon Fest Food Truck Festival! Bacon and wine?!?! YES PLEASE!

I recently made a top 25 list that highlighted New Jersey's best concert venues. A few Jersey Shore locations made it on the list including The Stone Pony and PNC Bank Arts Center. It's really awesome knowing we have some of the best music venues in our own backyard. However, the list might be inaccurate. After recently seeing a show at the House of Independents in Asbury Park, I might have to make an edit and update the top 25. The House of Independents can easily be categorized as one of the best New Jersey concert venues. Here's why...

We've seen this with other shows before this one but the official ruling on Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park is now requiring that all attendees either show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken 3 days before attending the festival. So in other words, you better plan if you have not vaxed.

Recently, while I was broadcasting LIVE at the Asbury Park Boardwalk, someone ran by and shouted, "Porchfest!" At first, I was thinking to myself, "Who is this nut screaming random things in the background of a radio broadcast", but I then quickly realized he was talking about the Asbury Park PorchFest!

There's no other way to put it, the House of Independents in Asbury Park will be the place to be on August 8th! It will be a party and a true celebration for the very talented Recess Radio.

Yes, you heard me right, crazed Kanye fans who were at his DONDA listening event in Atlanta were hoping to make some money by simply trapping air that was shared by Kanye and other celebrities in a zip lock bag.

Every Saturday in the summer, I am extremely fortunate to be broadcasting LIVE from the Asbury Park Boardwalk. Not only do I enjoy being on LIVE radio, but I also get a chance to meet many local business owners and residents. Recently, William Whitefield & Bob Angelini, board members of the Asbury Park Theater Company stopped by to say hello. It was a great opportunity to shake hands and meet the leaders of a wonderful Asbury Park non-profit.
