The Pony is getting ready to celebrate its 50th anniversary this year, and to celebrate they've invited the legendary Jersey band Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes to help celebrate.
Once the show starts, it's sensory overload. Loud music, melodic singers, and a stage show that is on par with KISS or Queen (back in the day.) The lights and video are awesome, the laser effects are outrageous, and the pyro is unlike anything you've seen. Did I mention the snow that comes down on the audience?
Thousands of holiday lights, timed perfectly together to put on an unforgettable show accompanied by electronic effects, explosive pyrotechnics, and a massive sound system.
We're different in New Jersey. We may have hard exteriors, but we take care of our own. Like a family, we take pride in members of our family who do well. Sometimes, someone in the family has to stand up and say something that needs to be said.
It's with that in mind that I send this message to Jon Bon Jovi and Ritchie Sambora: Life is too short. Let's get it together one last time for the family.
