You can help the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties and protect yourself against identity theft at the same time this Saturday from 9am to 1pm at the Community Shred Day and Food Drive at the FoodBank.

Here's how it works, When you bring a donation of non-perishable food to the FoodBank this Saturday between 9am and 1pm, Planet Shred will shred your documents for free. Materials that can be shredded include personal documents like credit card receipts, bank statements and tax return and business papers and file folders.

Items that can not be shredded include newspapers, catalogs and magazines, as well as X-Rays, MRIs, hard cover books, cardboard or wet and mildewed material.
