Cover of Pitbull and Ke$ha’s ‘Timber’ is Not What You’d Expect [VIDEO]

Usually cover songs stay fairly close to the original song, with some minor differences to make them new.

One group covered Pitbull and Ke$ha’s ‘Timber’ and instantly took us back in time. Sort of.

Postmodern Jukebox offer what they call ‘an alternate history to pop music.’

They take current hits and cover them in a truly old-school doo-wop or Motown style…and it’s pretty awesome.

Singer Robyn Adele Anderson nails the vocals, and in this song, Postmodern Jukebox teams up with The Tee Tones, an a cappella group.
