This is not for the faint of heart! The old Marlboro Psychiatric hospital is being featured in this haunted Halloween attraction!

When I was growing up, we would hear the creepiest, scariest stories about the Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital...and that's back when it was actually open! We would hear horror tales about escapees on the loose and horrific things that would happen inside the institution. Of course, they were probably all made-up stories...but we grew up seriously afraid of that place!

Now C. Casola Farms in Marlboro has their haunted attractions, including their Hayride of Terror, open for the Halloween season and I will tell you that, in the past, this has truly been one of the most terrifying attractions in Monmouth County. Along with the Hayride of Terror are several other heart attack- inducing attractions, including the one with the Psych Ward, including a 3-D haunted barn, a haunted back-woods trail, a living maze and:

The Zombie Breakout! This is where the Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital theme comes to life....after all, it was an institute for the insane for many, many years. I won't give away the whole storyline for this haunted experience, but your mind will be blown and you will forever remember the fear of this spooky, spooky attraction where zombies must be exterminated (via paintball), underground tunnels lead to mysterious labs where a disturbed doctor tries to 'cure' his patients with injections of odd serums, and the zombies turn on him and seek revenge against humanity!!!

Now, if you determine that C. Casola is too much for your little kids, we have just the right solution to that problem! For a tamer, more awe-inspiring and family-oriented way to celebrate Halloween among some spectacular lights, check out the Jack-o-Lantern spectacular light-up experience called The Glow at Monmouth Park!  You can find out all about it and get your ticets by CLICKING HERE!!!
