Will the guy who does the best Regis Philbin impression end up being the next Regis?

Regis Philbin is leaving Live! at the end of the month and there have been many names tossed around as possible replacements. Ryan Seacrest, Andy Cohen and even Kelly Ripa’s husband have been on the list of contenders. But as we get closer to Regis’ exit, rumor has it that the number one choice for his replacement is Dana Carvey. Dana, an SNL alum is famous for his dead-on impression of Regis.

Do you think this is a smart choice? Who would you have replace Regis?
