DWI Checkpoint Planned on Route 138 Friday Night

If you're travelling on 138 tonight into Saturday morning, you could be stopped.

Brielle Police Chief Michael Palmer confirmed that the checkpoint will be run from Friday through 3am Saturday along Route 138.

The Wall Police Department and task force members will pull over vehicles from the westbound lanes into the dental office parking lot to determine a driver’s sobriety and whether they are under the influence of alcohol and or drugs, according to Palmer.
