Early Look At July 4th Jersey Shore Weather

The big holiday weekend is right around the corner. If there's any justice, we should get a great weather weekend. So, will we get what we deserve?

We asked our meteorologist Dan Zarrow for his thoughts. It's pretty early to lock in the forecast, but this is what Dan is thinking about the weekend...

"Friday will have some scattered showers - right now, it looks like that would be in the late afternoon and evening. Saturday is a tough call... One model has hinted at a potential wash-out, but I'm far more optimistic.  I can't rule out a few showers and mostly cloudy skies for Saturday the 4th... but I think temperatures will still climb to about 80 degrees with some breaks of sun. Sunday looks great!  Sunny and dry, with highs 80 to 85".
