Favorite Festival Foods

This past weekend I went to Oysterfest in Asbury Park. But did I eat oysters? Nope. Here are my favorite festival foods. Have you tried this amazing new thing?

Fall festivals are upon us, and there are always so many great foods and sweets to enjoy.

It is far and away my new favorite festival food.

It's FRIED CHEESECAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously! It is encased in a thin, light, flaky wrap that is quickly dunked in the fryer and then sprinkled with powdered sugar and it is, simply, the most sinfully delicious sweet I have ever tasted!

What else did we have at this year's Oyster Fest? We loved the mac & cheese balls, the coconut shrimp, and what would a festival be without Wild Bill's cream soda and root beer?! Served in giant stainless steel mugs, those ice cold drinks taste better than anything out of a plastic cup, bottle, or can! (We now have a collection of them at home, since they last forever!)
