Found Roaming the Streets

Our Point Pet of the Week is now safe and sound at the Monmouth County SPCA and needs a forever home!

Tabitha is a fun-loving girl who was found roaming the streets. The MCSPCA took her in and has given her a place to stay until they can find her a home. She looks to be a Terrier mix and about 3 years old.

This beauty loves to play and get very excited when she gets a toy. She could play fetch for hours with someone who can keep up with her playfulness. Tabitha also loves a nice walk but is a bit of a strong girl so you'll need your muscles too keep up with her!

Tabitha has made a lot of nice friends at the shelter. She is a little shy when she first meets new people, but once she gets to be friends with you she is a loyal girl. And she is smart and knows some of her basic commands. Tabitha will easily learn more with someone willing to teach her

The MCSPCA is hopeful that Tabitha will find a nice family with a quiet setting where she can settle in.

Also, The MCSPCA has a special outreach this Saturday at Rick's Saddle Shop (29 Park Ave.) in Englishtown. They will be on site from Noon to 2 pm with adoptable dogs that you can take home that day!

And don't forget about the MCSPCA's special vaccine clinic this Saturday in Eatontown (260 Wall St.). There is a special on Rabies vaccines for only $5! For a 3-year Rabies vaccine you will need to provide proof of rabies vaccine from the previous year. Other low-cost vaccines will also be available, and no appointment is needed. Bring your leashed or crated pet in for their vaccines, heartworm testing, and purchase your preventatives, too! The clinic runs from 8:30 am - Noon.
