Three-year old Star is a beautiful and oh so smart Terrier mix who was found as a stray in Neptune. Her owners, sadly, chose to not reclaim her.
The Monmouth County SPCA couldn't be happier to have this girl in their care. The shelter volunteers say she is sweet, kind and always has a wagging tail to greet them.
Star lives up to her name in the Buddy Program, an in-house program which teaches canines at the shelter their commands and other life skills to make them even more adoptable.
Always ready for a long walk with the staff and volunteers, Star also loves her toys and tennis balls. She will play fetch and bring it back every time!
Open your heart and home to Star and help give her the life she always deserved.
