Captain Sparkey Hooks was our Point Pet of the Week last Thursday. The Monmouth County SPCA told us all about how this precious cat survived Superstorm Sandy and was found wandering around Sandy Hook.

Here is the message we got from the listener who decided to take him home:

"Please let Liz and Lou know that Captain Sparkey Hook (Point Pet of the Week) has found his forever home! It is wonderful that 94.3 does the MCSPCA Point Pet of the Week. We had talked about getting a cat but hadn't made any definite plans until we heard about Captain Sparky Hook's story on Liz and Lou's show. Once we heard his story we knew that he was meant for our home. We adopted him on Friday and he has had a wonderful first weekend with us and we look forward to many more. The MCSPCA couldn't have been more wonderful through the adoption process. My 10-year old son says that after a long, hard life our house is Captain Sparkey Hook's 'retirement home', lol.

Liz and Lou's Point Pet of the Week feature put us together and we couldn't be happier!"

Thank you Barbara, Dave, Kelly, and Tommy for sharing your heartwarming adoption story with us! We hope to unite every Point listener with their perfect forever pet. Listen every Thursday at 8:10 am to find out who our latest Point Pet of the Week is!
