Friday and Saturday catch Creatures of the Night at Huber Woods Park in Middletown with family-friendly hayrides, the “Creatures Got Talent” variety show and more.

Friday and Saturday “Ghosts on the Coast” is back… expanded paranormal investigatory tours of the Strauss Mansion in Atlantic Highlands.  Hear stories of paranormal activity and then investigate the 21 room mansion for yourself, with the lights out… BYOF.  That’s bring your own Flashlight. 

Friday, Pt. Pleasant Borough presents “Haunts in the Park” at Community Park with the Scary Trail, bouncy haunted houses, a family dance party, refreshments and more.  From 6 to 9 PM.

This coming Friday and Saturday check out Haunted Allaire!  Haunted Hayrides and Village at the Historic Village at Allaire in Wall.  Plus this week they also have the Glow Bubble Show with enchanting blacklight bubbles, basically it’s a magical bubble show, fun for the whole family.

Boo at the Boardwalk happens next Saturday and Sunday at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Pt Pleasant with Trick or Treating, Crafts, games, a pumpkin patch and more.

The Hazlet House of Horrors returns next weekend to the Cullen Center in Hazlet.  A free event with 6 rooms of terror to explore, plus a haunted trail with tricks and treats galore. 

The 2nd Annual Fall Wine and Food Trucks Weekend happens Saturday and Sunday at Route 35 and Arnold Avenue in Point Pleasant with live bands, activities for the kids, truck or treat, face painting, lawn Jenga and more… seriously, how often do you have an opportunity to play lawn Jenga??

Saturday, it’s Free Movie Night at Two River Theater in Red Bank.  Join Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion in the feature film “The Wizard of Oz.” 

Saturday at Pier Village it’s the Long Branch Fall Festival and Pooch Parade.  Dress up your pet for the parade kicking off at 12 noon.  Then at 2 PM it’s the Kids Costume Parade.  Enjoy family fun, with vendors, trick or treats, arts and crafts and more.

Sunday, the Annual Belmar Halloween Contest and Parade steps off at 601 Main Street at 11 AM sharp… ending at Pyanoe Plaza where the judging will take place.

Sunday, Freehold hosts their annual Spooktacular Costume Contest and Parade.   Meet at the Racetrack parking lot where the judging will take place starting at noon.  Then the parade begins with the costumed participants, live music, floats, pups and more marching down Main Street to the Hall of Records for refreshments and prizes.    

The 38th Annual Pt. Pleasant Halloween Parade steps off on Bridge Avenue at 1 PM to Community Park with a costume contest and more.

Experience All Hallow’s Eve at the Historic Village at Allaire with pumpkin picking, storytelling, historic games, craft demonstrations and more.  Starting at 11 AM.

Sunday it’s another Cornhole Tournament at Laurita Winery.  Starting at 1 PM, $30 per two person team.

On Halloween, don’t forget one of the longest running traditions at the Jersey Shore, the 80th Annual Toms River Halloween Parade, noted as the 2nd largest Halloween parade in the world.  The action starts long before it steps off at 7 PM.
