Stumpy's features eight throwing pits that accompany up to eight people each for the sport of hatchet throwing...a primitive form of recreation that you and your friends can have some laughs doing together.

You'll start by getting a brief training with a throwing coach on safety and procedure, then you will be led into the rustic outdoor-like setting of the hatchet throwing pits, complete with a 15 foot pine tree, skylights and tall timbers.

And then your fun begins. In your safe, controlled throwing pit, you will take turns hurling your hatchet to the target, honing in on your form and technique. After several trials, most people are finding this activity to be addicting!

When you're not throwing, you can gather with your friends in the common area at large farm tables and comfy couches and order food in, with snacks and beverages available for purchase.

The owners, Mark and Trish Oliphant and Stuart and Kelly Josberger, wanted to provide more than just hatchet throwing, so they also offer a 'Wood Shed' room for parties/buffets, great for bachelor/bachelorette parties, divorce/break-up parties, birthday parties, and other private meetings/celebrations. They'll even help you with catering packages and party themes.
