Sadly, an infection is traveling through this young man's body, causing some awful damage. Friends and family continue to raise money for Scott Nokes.

Scott A. Nokes is a marine and volunteer firefighter and first aider for several local agencies. But recently a horrible infection took over his system, causing Scott to become very ill. He has spent the past several weeks in critical condition at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in the ICU.

His mom says that medication caused blood flow to his feet to constrict and that caused two amputations below the knee, as well as impaired vision. Many are now praying that this horrific infection can be stopped.
