According to a release, The Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation is awarding towns with $25,000 in matching funds to produce a "Levitt AMP Music Series." These are free, outdoor concerts featuring professional musicians.

West-side Asbury Park's Springwood Park is in the running for the concert series. This location actually won last year. Asbury Park Music Foundation and Interfaith Neighbors are leading the charge.

In Ocean County, the desired location is the Courtyard at Ocean County College, located behind the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts. This effort is being backed by the Garden State Philharmonic.

Let's get some live music at the Jersey Shore this summer! Click here to vote for Asbury Park or Toms River. Voting ends November 21 at 5 p.m. PT. Winners will be announced on January 5.
