Do me a favor. Before you get a pet, make sure you think it through and realize that it should be a forever commitment and you should get a dog that suits your lifestyle and space. It breaks my heart when a dog is given up.

Marco, our Point Pet of the Week, is now at the Monmouth County SPCA because his family felt he needed more room to run than their small apartment offered.

He is an adorable and active one-year old that would love a yard to run around in or a family that will give him lots of exercise with long walks.

Marco looks like a terrier mix but no one knows for sure. What IS known for sure is that Marco has a lot of love to offer and enjoys giving kisses to his human friends and loves other dogs as well.

Since he is still young with lots of energy the best family for him would be one that could keep him active and take Marco along with them instead of leaving him home alone.

You can meet Marco at the Eatontown branch of the MCSPCA 7 days a week from Noon - 5 pm.

Also, if you're in the Cream Ridge area on August 22nd, the MCSPCA will be bringing out some of their adorable adoptables to Rick's Saddle Shop on Rt. 539  from 10 am - 3 pm. Come out and adopt if you can!
